At a young age, I was obsessed with filmmaking and storytelling and taught myself to make my own films on my family iMac. Growing up in Salt Lake, I was able to attend the Sundance Film Festival and listen to the filmmaker’s Q&As. These filmmakers inspired me to pursue a career in the industry. I landed my first job as an editor when I was 16, cutting a local filmmaker’s feature film during the summer break of my sophomore year of high school.

I moved to Los Angeles directly after high school. I edited documentaries and indie films to get my union days and entered the feature film world as a Post PA on “World War Z” where I met many of my mentors. From there I became an assistant editor in scripted television, getting my first main title editing credit at 23 on “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey”.

I continued as an assistant and VFX editor for over ten years on major television and feature films ("Outlander", "Ted 2", “Avengers: Endgame”) while continuing to cut shorts and indie films on the side when time allowed. On Hawkeye, as the lead visual effects editor, I edited the previs for the main action sequences. I then made the full jump to picture editor on Marvel’s upcoming “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman” and eventually was asked to supervise all ten episodes of the series.

I was very fortunate to work for and be mentored by incredibly talented editors including  Matt Chesse, ACE, John Duffy, ACE, Michael O’Halloran, ACE, and Terel Gibson, ACE,
